Good food & wine, good company. Taittinger Brut in our hotel room while watching the Spurs wrap up their championship.

Thanks to all for your notes on the FL offline. Sounds like a great time was had by all.

I don't want to pry into anything too personal, but are you looking into property in the Hill Country? I believe I saw a comment to that effect at some point in the not-too-distant past. Anne and I have done some looking at the area online, and we are thinking of a trip to visit in the next year to look into it a bit further. I'd love to pick your brain about the area sometime, if you wouldn't mind. If we move from Atlanta in the next few years, which is a distinct possibility, the Hill Country is one of our options, along with, for various reasons, Washington, Missouri, and Tennessee.

Were it me, Dan, my choice would be Washington.

Will be happy to have brain picked (won't take long!), provide real estate contacts, places to stay for a visit, etc. We've been concentrating our search around Fredericksburg, but the Hill Country actually extends further north, east, west and south of that little town. There are now 11 wineries within 12 miles of Fbg, and many more vineyards. It's a neat old German settlement with lots of history.

Born in Knoxville TN, so have links back there, too.

They kindly refer to him as the " Missing Link ". WW

WW made me laugh out loud again with the "missing link" reference. Good thing I was biting into a muffin rather than trying to swallow coffee.
