I'll submit a little joke since I don't have wine tasting notes ready to go. I went to a party at my neighbor's house last Friday. They were mixing colorful drinks (blue from Curacao? and red with a cranberry juice) but some of us had a Vinho Verde from Spain (nice, crisp summer wine but I didn't get the details.) When that bottle was finished we opened a white I had brought--the 2005 Torres Vina Esmeralda, DO Catalunya
(Northeastern Spain)an aromatic blended wine of 85% Moscato or Moscatel grapes and 15% Gewurztraminer. The guests liked that one also. The hosts have a pug and a chihuahua puppy. The friends from Charlotte drove up to stay overnight and brought their older black labrador. I don't know if it was the mix of strange dogs, but both the chihuahua and the black lab dumped on the carpet during the party. I called them out as a pair of party poopers!

That pretty much describes 'em, Wonders!
We're drinkin' the cellar.... haven't added much lately. Well, maybe a case of Montepulcuiano last week, and a few bottles of the '04 Leoville-Barton yesterday.
Have been burning fuel scouring the countryside for a place to call our retirement home, hopefully with a few acres suitable for grapes. Business interests still keeping us here for now.
