I have been drinking more wine than usual and would like to know a little more about them rather than going by trial and error. ANy suggestions for a sweet red or white wine? Big fan of pinot and reisling ( Is that how it is Spelt). Anyways my girl loves sweet wines and i try to get a bottle for us here and there and lately i have not done so well. Would love suggestions. Thanks.

Welcome to the board. You will find all the answers you are looking for in the FAQ section of this board. I'd start there then take a look at the Riesling (spelling) area of this forums to see which ones were popular with the folks on this site.

Good hunting.

If you want great sweet wines try Sauternes, a style of French white bordeaux. They range from low-end to very high ($400+/bottle like Ch. d'Yquem). Great with fruit, nuts, foie gras or Roquefort cheese!

Another really good sweet one is Moscato Allegro, or Moscato d' Asti.
