I like a guy who's not shy about advertising himself. Yes, Newsguy--your birthday dinner.

- Georgie - 12-21-2004

...not to mention that he's probably young. As I get longer in the tooth I tend to give my birthdays less publicity!

- Glass_A_Day - 12-22-2004

You guys will have to promise not to give me too hard of a time when I get there as I'm probably the youngest. Foodie will say, "This little whipper-snapper was the one debating politics with me!"

- Innkeeper - 12-22-2004

WW will probably confuse you with his great grandson!

- Thomas - 12-22-2004

whipper snapper? Only an old fogey uses such language

Is that how you spell fogey--doesn't look right...

- Georgie - 12-22-2004

I had to look it up.(It's a teacher thing)..Although "fogy" is the preferred spelling, "fogey" is an alternate spelling. So "fogey" is fine, foodie!

- winoweenie - 12-22-2004

Fogey-Foodie. Has a nice ring to it. WW

Hey, My birthday is only a few weeks prior to the event... We can do an "unbirthday/birthday" theme on Sunday...

So, how young is young? (It's all in the mind is it not?)
Who is under 40 (besides me) in our group?
Kat

- Kcwhippet - 12-23-2004

Well, mine is the week before. Lot of Leos here.

- Thomas - 12-23-2004

Me a cancer--early July, and CCK, it ain't proper to ask for age, especially if ww is involved in the conversation...

- Georgie - 12-23-2004

Aries is my sign...April 14th...sisterdear's birthday is August 9th, yet another Leo, so we can include her birthday in the weekend celebrations!

- dananne - 12-23-2004

I'm an Aries, too: April 13.

And, CCK, there will be others under 40 attending. Anne and I are both under.

- Kcwhippet - 12-23-2004

I used to be under 40. Does that count?

- californiagirl - 12-23-2004

Sorry KC, doesn't count!

I'm also an Aries- April 11th.

I'll be joining the under 40 crowd too!

- Sisterdear - 12-23-2004

I'm trying to post but keep getting told that I don't exist. Depressing, really although there are those who wish it were so. Hope this one works. Yes, WA for me if I can rearrange my schedule. Need comments on wines I received as gifts from residents (they do treat their PD well!). Ask here or somewhere else. I'm never sure.

- Sisterdear - 12-23-2004

Hooray, I'm in!

- newsguy - 12-23-2004

as for ages, i'll be turning 43 at our wine binge... err... soiree next summer. but i don't feel a day over 29!

looks like we'll have a birthday, quite a few near-birthdays and tons of unbirthdays to celebrate!

- Thomas - 12-23-2004

newsguy, after a certain age all celebrations become of the unbirthday type.

I am a little older than you younguns, but I bet I can keep up with any one of you in the celebration department...I know ww, IK and KC can. Gene Pierce is the mystery one!

- Glass_A_Day - 12-23-2004

31 on January 19th.

- winoweenie - 12-23-2004

Have seen 40 my-very-own-self. Feel like it could be 36&3/4. Age is merely a number. Age happens to be the common denominator everyone is judged by. My great-grandson asked if I was older than his dad. Love that kid. WW
