Rob you're against some top wine people and cynics on this forum. Every snake-oil salesman on the planet has had their hides tanned here. If you think this contraption can really work, send one gratis to Michael Fine at Sportsmans Wine here in Phoenix and we'll give that hummer a major challenge. When you get one installed in a major fine wine facility, I'll be the first to say " Atta-Boy ". WW

From the wine enhancer website... "Utilizing a unique combination of technologies, the wine enhancer bathes an entire bottle of wine with Orgone Energy, Zero Point Energy, Crystal Energy and much more."

I recommend you visit his website. It is a riot. Really, how can you argue with exposing your wine to Orgone energy? It works especially well on Oregon wines I guess. But seriously, they make kind of a pretty coaster if you're a new-agey sort.

I still want to know the point of the device.

Is it because both winemakers and mother nature have no idea what they are doing? If not, I'd like to know what other possible reason there could be for needing the device to soften or to age one's wine right before your very eyes.

Well, I went out and did a very short research cycle on "orgone energy". Here's some of what I've found. It is variously described as "animal magnetism", "cosmo-electric energy", "vital magnetism" and "primordial cosmic energy" among many other definitions. Orgone energy is claimed to be the cause of the color of the sky, galaxies, the failure of most political revolutions, gravity and a good orgasm. Now Mr. Catania wants us to believe that orgone energy will also make our wine better than it was when we bought it. Hmmmm.

I can vouch for the orgas... oh, wait, that was origami -- never mind.

Robert,

Why don't you send me the deluxe version, let me give it a try for a short while, and then I'll post my honest opinion on this site?

So many wines... so little time!

Cheers
