day off sabbatical.CB had a marvelous time and we even took my grandson who's staying with us on the sojourn. As a committed beer drinker he had to admit there is something to admire 'bout the grape. He questioned the waiter about the Maderia so the nice young man brought out the bottle. Hard to believe a bottle older than Moi' is still alive and kicking.Another 4 days of abstinance and then the Lakes!WW ( Hard to feel bad with John Pizzarelle playing and singing "I'm in the mood fer' love" and "I thunked about youse". Your Grandson is old enough to drink???
Sounds like it was a very special night out and well worth breaking "away" for a night.

His great grandson just got his law degree from Harvard, and the amazing thing is he went back and got it after retiring from the military. He went into military after getting thrown out of the priesthood.
