- Bucko - 08-17-2001 Head out for Kodiak Island, Alaska on Saturday to play havoc with the salmon and halibut. You all try to get WW out of trouble -- I know it is a challenge! Bucko - wondersofwine - 08-17-2001 Wish you could send some halibut this way. They didn't have any yesterday at the best grocery store in town. - cpurvis - 08-17-2001 So, Buck-fish, to continue a recent topic...did you see Castaway? Somethin' to think about on your flight...wouldn't advise stayin' in the water as long as he did Have a good trip..& swim fast! cp - Bucko - 08-17-2001 Never fear -- I have Wilson with me.... - hotwine - 08-17-2001 Yee-haa! This is the perfect time of year for a visit to Alaska! Enjoy, Bucksport! - winoweenie - 08-17-2001 Chahuka-walle Indian-Buckskin. That's Shawnee for " He who takes more than he can eat from our rivers will get a double hernia " WW (PPSS have funny) - RAD - 08-17-2001 Bucko-- I want pics and details of your trip to AK. Haven't been salmon fishing up there since the 80s. More than wine, fishing (fly-fishing or any other type) is my life-long passion. Tight lines! RAD - Bucko - 08-17-2001 Thanks one and all. I wish that I could share the bounty with everyone. Power is out here so I just fired up my 7K generator for the first time. Obviously it is working. I went to Canada last year and the silvers were running like crazy. However, the Canadians closed the season a week before I went, so it was all catch and release. It was fun, but just not the same when you don't bring home the bacon. BuckBait |
