fine Sat morn? Am having the ole' "yellow light" problem again. When I clicj on the lights that were on when you got me back on are still on. Plus the minute I make a post ALL them hummers come on. I konw it's not catastrophic but wonder if it's something that can be fixed. Happy December! WW

Hi WW,

Sorry I just saw this post now. I've been under the weather... I don't know how I missed it.

I'm puzzled about this whole problem. I don't know the answer at this moment, but I promise to come up with some ideas to try. It's funny that only you are having this problem. That's why I'm stumped. Usually it's everyone or no one... But there must be a solution, so I will think on it.

Jackie

Back and the problem is as bad or worse than before. I updated my maschine and doubled the capacity so am sure this is part or all of the problem. It's extremely frustrating as I have to open EVERY thread to see if there's a new post on it. Enny of youse puter genious know what to do? WW

WW, welcome back. I don't have a computer answer for you but I screen by date. If I left my work computer on Dec 14 and return on Dec 17 I check for new messages Dec 14 on in each thread. Sometime in January I will buy a home computer and may check evenings and weekends.

- winoweenie - 12-17-2007

WOW what you don't understand is that my dates are frozen in time so I have to open Every single thread to see if any new posts have been made. WW

Have you tried clicking on "Preferences" and then "Set Preferences"? I have to do this every time I go to the board. It is a pain, but everything then lights up. Have had to do this for close to a year now. Jackie has given several suggestions, but none worked. There is nothing wrong with my puter, and I never delete the board's cookies.

Can you try ONE MORE THING for me. What happens when you go to this page....

It worked Jackie!!! At least for now, no more preference setting!!!

- Jackie - 12-22-2007

Good. What about you WW? Does this make a difference?

If so, I will make a few changes to the board setup, so it will work like that login page.... In the meantime, you could bookmark that page and log in that way.

Again, it is wines.com/wineboard
