- tunaima - 05-26-2002 What wine would match with an apetizer of Goat Cheese on Toasted Baguette with Tomato Marmelade? Thanks for the response I appreciate it [This message has been edited by tunaima (edited 05-26-2002).] - Innkeeper - 05-26-2002 Hi Tuna, and welcome to the Wine Board. A Barbera D'Asti would be fine. If too hard to find, try a simple Chianti. If you want to splurge (say $20 or so) go for a Rosso D'Montalcino. - Botafogo - 05-27-2002 OR, since you live in a hot and humid area, try a Prosecco or a Cerasuolo Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (a DRY but fully flavored rose) very chilled....
