Would Pinot Noir go well with a pasta dish? The dish would have a very light tomato sauce and a side of garlic bread. If Pinot Noir would go well with this, are there any wineries/labels that you recommend. Thank you for your help.

Hi Thorin, and welcome to the Wine Board. Yes it would work with a "light" tomato sauce. A widely available brand is Meridian Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara. It runs around $14.00, and is one of the handful of quality pinots costing less than $20. David Bruce Pinot Noir, Central Coast; and River Road Pinot Noir, Russian River are two others at around the same price point.
