Good morning. I have a friend who grew up w/ the owner of Caymus vinyard. He no longer drinks. I did some Major Automotive repair for him and asked if the wife and I like wine. I said oh ya! I am skeptictal on drinking them. (should i serv it to my wife first?):-) just kiding. The first one is Camus 1996 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, 2nd one is Camus 1999 California Zinfandel, and the last (i believe to be from same celler) is Conundrum Vintage 2000 california white table wine. These have been kept in the back of closet in the dark. I', sure the temp has not been stable, but low to no light. Thx for the read.

Hi Imazdaman and welcome to the Wine Board. Providing the temps were not too bad, the Cab should be fine the the other two could be. I would surely try them before dumping them. As you probably know Caymus is a very reliable producer.

Good morn Innkeeper. Thnk you.
As for the other 2,... Can they make one sick? Or just taste like vinagor? Looks very clear in the bottles.
Oh, almost forgot. For the Cab, should i let the sediment stay in the bottle. (don't mix, shake)?

Decant the Cab carefully. The others won't make you sick. Taste them and if either tastes bad, don't finsh it.

Hi Imaz and welcome to the board. The 96 Sav Blanc is very iffy. The 99 Zin should be fine and the 2000 Conundrum is also ifft. I'd open both whites and test the waters before taking too large a swig. Could get lucky and have 3 nice drinkers. WW
