Hi, I'm new at wine making, made four kits from grape concentrate, I now have three fruit wines brewing, Do I have to add chemicals to these like the kits? If so what do I add? Thanks Ben

Ben,

Winemaking is tricky and we wouldn't want your wine to be spoiled by giving you incomplete advice.

I can recommend a very good book, however, that you will love. It gives you complete explanations of the various techniques in home winemaking. It also has dozens of wine recipes-- eveything from Chianti to Kiwi Fruit Wine.

The title is "WINEMAKING: Recipes, Equipment, and Techniques for Making Wine At Home". The authors are Stanley F. Anderson and Dorothy Anderson. It's published by Harcourt Brace & Co. ISBN#0-15-697095-3. The price is $20.00 and well worth it. This book could keep you occupied for years.

Hope this helps.

Jackie
