Can anyone recommend a CDP that is less than $20?

Also, what does everyone think about the inflated price of E. Guigal's 1999 CDP due to Wine Spectator naming it wine of the year? Is is really worth $50 - $75? Also, how much better is it then the 1998 Guigal CDP? I have not tasted either but have 3 bottles of the 1998 in my cellar.

Go back for 6 months on the Rhone thread and you'll find tons of useful info. Our archives are full of great wines at great prices. WW

Less than $20 there is not much out there worth the tariff, for my palate anyway.

Bump it up to $25-30 and there is a hell of a lot of good bottles. 98 Donjon is a dandy, Bosquet des Papes a killer, Senechaux is great -- just a few off of the top of my head.
