Very new to drinking wine. The few that I have tried(don't remember the names) were very dry, and I ended up throwing them out. The only one that I really liked was a Riunite, and I know that is not really a wine, but a fruit juice with alchol added.
Any suggestions on where to start?

Hi Newbie, and welcome to the Wine Board. Reunite Lambrusco is a wine made from grapes. Lambrusco is one of very few widely distributed off dry red wines. You might also try White Zinfandel which is a rose or blush wine made from a red grape. Whites include riesling, gewurztraminer, and chenin blanc that do not have "dry" on the label. Vouvray a wine made from chenin blanc and coming from the Loire region of France is very nice.

Getting back to reds you may want to check some of your local wineries. Many wineries east of the Rocky Mountains make a full range of wines of varying sweetness. If there are none nearby, look up Michigan Wines on Google. You should be able to check out selections of individual wineries, and have them shipped to you.
