Welcome to a fellow Garden Stater! What county? - robr - 12-05-2005 Banfi make a sparkling wine called Rosa ----- (can't remember the rest of the name) that is a raspberry flavored sweet wine. It's about $19 a bottle, and very delicious. - Kcwhippet - 12-05-2005 Bern, That would be Rosa Regale, a wonderful sparkler made from the Brachetto grape. - WileECoyote - 12-09-2005 My favorite sweet wine is a moscato. I drink one from Italy called Vallerbo I think. It has a picture of Van Gogh's Starry Night on the label. It is about $10 a bottle and is a DOCG wine. - robr - 12-09-2005 KC, Yes, that's it! It was a big hit at Epcot this fall. I saw lots of people drinking it, so I had some, and it is really really good. I think it would go great with a dark chocolate dessert. - Kcwhippet - 12-09-2005 If you liked that, try a sparkling Shiraz from Oz. - philadelphiawineguy - 12-10-2005 the click wine group has a label in its portfolio called campbells they do a dessert wine called rutherglen tokay. its really sweet and oh so yummy. a 375 for under 20 ducks. tis the season for dessert wines. try it with hazlenut ice cream or some sort of nutty dessert treat. - walt - 01-26-2006 Hi Georgie, I'm from Union county - barnesy - 01-27-2006 Always got to go with Spatlese level German Riesling when I got a sweet tooth.
