I just purchased some

Chateau Gautoul
Cahors 1995

The Guy at the wine store said it was a nice full wine....

I know what I like once I drink it, but just wanted to know, what I would ask for.....

exemple, I hear alot of people talking about how it was smooth in there mouth, or talked about how the smell was....How about this is there a site or section on this site that I haven't found that talk on how to explain a wine I just tested...

Does this make sense hehe

tnx for all your help, I never thought there would be a great msg board about wines like this one hehe

Sounds like you are a bit of a wine newbie. You may want to invest in a book called Wine for Dummies. Its probably about 26 or 27 Canook bucks. It will help you learn to evaluate what you are putting into your mouth and then describe it in terms other wine people will be able to understand so you can find similar products.

Also, keep coming here and reading and asking.

Maybe we should talk to the Wine for Dummies people and see if we can get some commission for all the times we've recommeneded it.
