I wanted to know everyones thoughts on this concept.
I created this website www.winelo.com it lets people get together and make group buys on cases of wine, so everyone can get the case price per bottle.
Do you guys think this is something people will use?

My own thought is that the logistics could get very tricky--shipping to different locations, across state lines, etc. Making sure the wines are shipped under optimal conditions. The ideal would be to find friends locally that like the same type of wines and do a purchase among two to four friends. This concept also limits the buyers' choices to certain wines you list.

"case price per bottle" + shipping price per bottle = a lot more than you pay in the store at per bottle price. Now add shipping materials, time to repack all this budget juice, get it to UPS..... I'm getting tired just thinking about it.

I too think that logistics would be the killer. Better to form a small club near you so you could then take advantage of bulk buying.
