Is there anyone on the forum who was lucky enough to have purchased any 1995 Petite Mouton directly from Chateau Mouton? Has anyone ever tasted this bottle? Apparently none was ever shipped to the USA and I haven't had any luck locating any in France. I need two bottles for a First Growth vs their Second label tasting I am having in the future. Anyone know where I can buy a couple?

Gaglio, try this web site:

www.wine-searcher.com

You might have some luck there.........

Thanks for the suggestion mrdutton. Unfortunately, I tried them already, again to no avail. This bottle seems to be even harder to find than any Cult cab or First Growth from older vintages! And to think, that the bottle isn't worth more than $50!!! Well if you come up with any other ideas let me know! I do appreciate your help! Thanks.

So, Gaglio, welcome to the Wineboard. How do like it so far?

Hey Bob,
I took your recommendation and decided to see this site for myself. I wish I could design my own site, but I certainly prefer this to Abuzz' new format. I think I'll stick around here. I hope more of the others will come aboard. This site seems easy enough to use and doesn't have any real complexity but is very useful;smooth running dialogue is possible. Besides, I haven't found any kinks in the use of it yet!

How's the wedding plans going? Are you a nervous father? I tried some really great wines this weekend up in Napa. The '97 Silverado Reserve and the Silverado Stag's Leap Cab were really terrific! I also had a 1994 Chateau Monthelena Estate Cab-wow!Too bad it's $200/bottle when I could have bought it back on release for a lot less. The 1997 Reguschi Cab was really nice too-I was surprised. I tried the 1996 Harlan-hate to say it but the Emporer was bare-ass nekked! I had the 1994 and it was really very good but not worthy of all the hype (my opinion). I tried lots of others too, maybe I'll get to talk to you about them in person in November, eh? Thanks again for getting me here!
