I went to a small wine tasting last night for a sales meeting/function. They served Aussie wines and finished with a Wolf Blass Shiraz. I was a little taken aback by the glass that they served it in, which was a small, almost desert sized wine glass. It was not a port glass, more like a general wine glass with a small bowl. Is this the correct type of glass to serve a shiraz in? I cannot help but to think the answer is no. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You're right! You need a Bordeaux glass to open up a Shiraz IMHO.

Kazak, Tell your meeting coordinators they mustn`t book any-more get-togethers at Dennys. Their glass selection is VERY limited. (hehe) winoweenie

Flo (the sommelier)was nervous with such a large, high powered clientelle. I think she ran out of glasses.
