Hi,

I am looking for a bottle of wine, bottled in 1975. It is to be a present for our parents anniversary, they were married in 1975. If anyone has any bright deas as to where I might find such a bottle please contact me at BRUGBY@HOTMAIL.COM

There's a very good retailer in Costa Mesa, CA that has a cellar collection with great depth and selections from many vintages.

Call (949) 650-8463...ask for Chuck Hanson...tell him Jerry Mead from The Wine Board sent you and I'm sure he'll help if he can.

It's a long shot (but he used to have some)..ask if he still has any 1975 Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard Pinot Noir.

By the by...any wine you get with so old a vintage date should be consumed soon...with the possible exception of Port or Sauternes.

There's another idea (albeit not an inexpensive one) 1975 was a very good year for Chateau D'Yquem...the world's greatest dessert wine. I'll almost bet Hi-Time has that one.
