I am extremely new to wine and everything about it but I want to learn more so i can enjoy it. I have been reading the different help sections about serving temperatures and I wanted to know that when the bottle says serve chilled can I keep it in the fridge or do i need to keep it at room temperature until i plan on drinking it and then putting it in the fridge about 2 hours before drinking?

Hi Usctwo5, and welcome to the Wine Board. The wine as with most whites should be served at around 55 degrees F. Length of time in the fridge depends on the temp of your storage area and temp of the fridge. We keep out's at 40 degrees, and the cellar stays around 65 to 70 this time of year. Therefore one hour in the fridge takes the wine pretty close to 55 degrees. Take it out just before serving.
