I am new to drinking wines. I have realized that I like dry-lighted bodied wines. I tried a Johannisberg Riesling wine that very dry-lighted bodied and very, very smooth. However to my surpries, there are several types of Riesling wines. Which Rieslings are dry-lighted bodied with a smooth finish? Also, is dry, light boided wine the same as dry to semi-sweet?

Hi Cooper, and welcome to the Wine Board. One of the easiest ways, though not tit for tat, is to check the percentage of alcohol. Lighter bodied wines usually have less than 12.5% alcohol.

Super. I didn't know that. Thanks so much.

Usually Alsatian Rieslings are dry. Some may not be as light bodied. Check the alcohol volume as IK suggested.
