She use to inspect her vineyards riding her bicycle due to a fuel shortage, but this became her trademark.
She only took over the champagne house after the death of her husband....not sure if her favourite sport was "bowling"....

Ok guys now that we have all introduced ourselves,hands across the water and all that. I am now studying at diploma level,hopefully on the way to MW.I am set certain tasks or questions ,one off which I would like your gracious HELP. (Without leaving the country you start in,how do you get from Iona to Jordan.)Possible answers
1 Travel 60 miles NW
2 130 due S
3 280 W
I have already found Iona in 4 states and Scotland and Jordan in MN.Plus Jordan in Lebanon Ch Musar country and S Africa plus other area's.
I would appreciate your opinions.

Iona and Jordan are wineries in South Africa. Iona is in Elgin and Jordan is in Stellenbosch, both in Cape Province. Stellenbosch is definitely NW of Elgin, but I don't know how far.

Well, ww, just a little reasoned deduction. I figured that since this was for a MW test, why would they care about the distance between two towns. So, I went looking for two wineries named Iona and Jordan, and --- voila. I checked on Mapquest, and it's a bit uncertain what the actual distance is, though it appears less than 60 miles as the crow flies. Also, if you take the shortest route, it looks like a bit less than 60 miles. However, if you take the N2 from Elgin northwest, take a right on the R310, then a left in Stellenbosch onto Stellenbosch Kloof Road to the Jordan Winery, it may just be 60 miles. I have to do a lot of research on the internet for my "real" job, so I've learned how to use its power as a tool to help me find all kinds of data.

OOH..beware those MapQuest directions...the routes are correct, but not always the most savory. Once I went to a concert in Ridgewood, NJ, which is a lovely, affluent town. To get there, Mapquest took us via the heart of the worst section of Paterson, NJ. Scared the bejeebers out of us. It turned out there was a much safer, easier route that was a fraction of a mile longer.

Come to think of it, why does anyone need to know what Mrs. Bollinger said in order to receive an MW? I thought it was a serious diploma.
