Im having a birthday party for my husband and want to have a variety of wines that will go well with dinner we are having mexican food. any suggestions?

Welcome to the board, NJ. Suggest you look for a Rioja Crianza. One of our favorites is Palacio de Sada; we enjoyed it last night with barbequed chicken and ranch-style beans, but it's even better with Mexican food.

Excellent advice above, but if you happen to be in the market for a white wine, for example with Seviche, try a Gewurtztraminer.
