Hey guys. The other day I went to a great Thai place and they served us probably one of the better wines I ever had. They told me it was thai sangria. It was very sweet and really didn't have the normal wine taste i've had before. Anyone know a specific type or a way to make this with other wines? If not maybe suggest wines that could be similar to that? Thanks.

Hi Marino, and welcome to the Wine Board. Sangria is a mixture of wine and other things, usually fruit and juices. There are many recipes for Spanish Sangria posted around this Board, but don't remember one for Thai Sangria. Recommend you Goggle it for a recipe.

Sake and Lychee?

Seriously though, I'd ask someone at the restaurant.
