I often see at parties, liquor stores ands markets "Bare Foot" Cabernets being served and sold. It's very cheap and popular. Is there anything to this wine? I can't tell the difference between this and others. Iwould be interested in other opinions.

Thanks.

For cheap wine not bad. I had it at a recent party and was impressed with it for the price. I bought the Zin after reading it had won a gold medal and thought it was quite tasty.
They are not complex wines but quaffing wines. Great for large gathering or daily drinking where cost is important.

If you like the barefoot wine and can't tell the difference between that and more expensive wines, then by all means enjoy the barefoot. Wine is all about what you enjoy, not how much the bottle costs.

We have many really nice, inexpensive wines in the shop. For some reason Barefoot didn't make the list.

KC, Trader Joes sells for roughly $6 a bottle?? I can't remember but it is there in large quantities.

Since they're virtually next door, I guess there's no reason for both of us to carry it.

Now I detect a small note of sarcasm. WW (You have to read my posts frum the bottom up) WW

Okay, I got the message!! Give me a break I just started trying wines! I do however, appreciate the feedback. This is the only way I learn..... will expand my horizons.

I didn't mean for my reply to be sarcastic. You really can see Trader Joe's from our parking lot. We try not to carry much, if anything, that they carry because we're only one shop. With as many stores as they have, they can beat us by economy of scale. So, they're able to undercut our prices as much as they want because they have so much more than wine in their stores to pick up the slack.

Sorry KC, I should've been a bit more explanatory. Now I've got you into trouble with WW ...... hehehehehehe...

See you tonight.
