I have a 1993 Iron horse blanc de blanc. Its in my basement right now, where the temp on a avg is around 20-25 F. Is it a good place to store? How long will the wine last?

is tehre a website that would tell me how to figure out how long a wine might last?
thanx

Hi coolslife and welcome to the board. 20 to 25*? Do you live in Alaska? At that temp the wine will need to be defrosted before drinking. IMHO the ideal temp to store bubblies is around 45*. WW

Aside from the storage problems; the 1993 Iron Horse Blancs de blancs is a very nice sparkler indeed.

If yours has survived the BIG CHILL, after it thaws out to a respectible 50 or so, pop the cork and give it a sip.

Hope it is still okay!

Wow! That's way below freezing. Definitely not good for long term wine storage. That's about 30 F below optimum storage temps.

However, the wine is now ready for the second, and very late, disgorgement (sp?).
