I meant to say these are bottles of Penfolds Grange ranging in age from 1975 to 1995. These are sold individually or in groups ie 70-75 76-82 ect

Hi J&J, and welcome to the Wine Board. You get your answers easily at www.winesearcher.com . That should be very helpful for you in determining values. Please come back and visit us regularly.

Here's a link to an Australian dotcom that has some prices of Grange - your bonus would be that these are in $AUD!http://www.nicks.com.au/cgi-bin/showPenfolds

Hi J&J.and welcome to our lil'ole' board. Are you looking at buying these wines as an investment? If so, then you may be looking at a long, long, time frame to show a profit. IMHO, the ONLY way to get into the wine business is as either A)....A vineyard owner...B)....A distributor...C)...A wealthy wine shop owner(sorry Foodie, couldn't resist)...or D) an individual who is buying to drink. I can assure you with relative confidence that the majority appreciation in the 10-year and older Granges' has been realized by whomever your considering buying them from. If you're absolutely determined to get into the wine investment business, the only thing to do is find a reputable merchant, buy French Bordeaux futures of the great years, buy only the 1st and super-second growths and make sure you havew proper storage for them. Then, maybe, jes' maybe, you mite show a profit in 10 years or so. winoweenie

I have a 1977 French wine. Check out 1977 Boredaux. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Hi Randi and welcome to the board. Sorry to inform you but 77 was a terrible year in bordeaux and even the 1st growths are dead. Doubt if the bottle is even good vinegar now. WW
