I have a chicken recipe that calls for a red cooking wine. I don't want to use a "grocery store cooking wine" from the vinegar shelf...what is a good red wine to cook with?

Hi EliceH and welcome to the board. Use any red wine 8-bucks or under that has a cork. Sould be Okie-Dokie. winoweenie Why don`t you post the receipe under the Wine/ Food Thread so we mite all eat some chicken with RED WINE. ( Pls Note Foodie And IK hehe)
