I know this must be a totally newbie question, but I can't for the life of my figure out what "SW" stands for. Please put my mind to rest. Thanks!

It is a Winoweenieism for "sissy whites." He alleges that he only drinks reds although occasionally fesses up to a gewurtz or a riesling. Others will use to term either in support of the concept or derision of it.

And just for the record lizardbrains, we all hail Innkeeper as the official chief of the "sissy whites" department here on the wineboard. All hail Innkeeper!

Gee, I thought that the facts that Chardonnay isn't finished until it has bubbles in it and that the best white wines are Belgian Bieres were self evident........

Got it. You all are too funny!

I'm trying to learn to appreciate the whites, but reds are just easier to like!

we call it WW (wimpy whites)

- cpurvis - 07-31-2001

Since WW is a Member of the Board, can't use that designation here...we have better one's for him cp

Seems the Nom-de-plume for them SW's are in dispute. I jes' calls 'em likes' I sees 'em. All whites would be red if they Could. WW

yeah, and all red would be Pinot Noir...

lizardbrains, methinks you should trade monikers with ww!
