Does anyone know anything about this wine? 1952 Chateau Brut-Brion Premier Grand Cru Classe Red Bordeaux Wine. I believe this was one of but a few that was produced.

I have it in very good condition (the label has pealed a bit in the middle but is very readable)and was thinking of selling it.

I was hoping for more specific details. Any advice and input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Long since dead. 1952 was a poor vintage year in Bordeaux.

Hi tjespirit2 and welcome to the board. While my esteemed collegue is basically rite on there were some stupendous wines made in 52. I last had the Haut Brion in 96 and it was a killer wine as was the Petrus. I've seen it advertised lately in the 500-550 range retail. I'm sure if you decided to have an opening party that IK and Foodie, and probably Drew could fit it into their busy schedule. WW
