I'm looking for a sweet dessert wine that I ran across months ago and would like to have again. I remember it was named Markham, but my wine merchant doesn't recognize that name. I found it at a small liquor store, but it has new people now and they don't know it either. Does anyone know anything about this wine? I sure hope so! Thanks!

Dewdrop, welcome. Markham does make a Muscat blanc dessert wine. Call them at the winery to get the exact name and your wine store can then order it from their distributor.

If you had defined your location in your profile a little bit more precisely than USA, there is probably someone here who's close enough to you to actually recommend a local shop that would be better able to find your wine. WW is right. Any shop that doesn't know Markham is not the place to shop for fine wines.

I'm mighty glad this Memphis, TN gal found this board. The merchant I usually go to is Kirby Liquors on Quince Rd. (just in case any of you know this one). I think I'll print out this info and take it with me tomorrow.
