I wasn't able to find much info online about this. I picked it up at a wine shop the other day.

What can I expect from it?

I have limited knowledge of Bordeaux and don't know this particular producer. 1995 was a very good vintage in Bordeaux on the whole so this may be quite enjoyable. Wine Spectator indicates firm tannins and some aging in order for this vintage, but the wines from St. Emilion have a higher percentage of Merlot than Cabernet Sauvignon and that tends to soften the wine. It may be ready for drinking now.

WOW, thanks so much for your reply. I'm hoping it's ready for drinking now because it might be just the thing to have on my anniversary!

Happy Anniversary.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news Lil' but this under-achieving vineyard really missed the mark with this vintage Looking back on my tasting notes I wrote " Reminds me of an early Monterrey county Cabernet with tannins, acid and sour cherries dominating. No Future ". hopefully I was wrong. WW

Well, c'est la vie. I may pop it a bit early then....and find something else for the anniversary. I've got a month....
