HI MARGIE, AND WELCOME TO THE WINE BOARD. ONLY THE MOST EXPENSIVE WINES AND THE CHEAPEST PLONK COMES IN BOTTLES LARGER THAN ONE AND A HALF LITERS. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND ONE AND A HALF LITER BOTTLES OF CAVIT PINOT GRIGIO IN ANY SUPERMARKET SIZE VENUE IN YOUR AREA. WOULD CALL THAT DINNER SIZE. HAVE SEEN FIVE HUNDRED PEOPLE EASILY SERVED OUT OF ONE AND A HALF LITER BOTTLES.

The 1999 Cavit Collection Pinot Grigio comes in 750 ml and 1.5 liter bottles. It is fairly inexpensive wine. The 750 ml bottle is the "normal" size and the 1.5 liter bottle is the "magnum" size. Both size bottles are used for service at dinner, so I'm not so sure what you mean when you say "dinner size bottle".

Heck a 350 ml bottle is a dinner size bottle for one person or maybe even for two people if they are not big wine drinkers.

I have not had the pleasure (or the displeasure) of trying this wine.

Since you live in Cicero, Illinois, this stuff should be easy to find. Just go to your local wine store and enquire. I'm sure they'll be able to take care of you.

If you can't do that and you are willing to try a purchase from an on-line site (if that is even legal in Illinois - of that I'm not sure) then try:

They have lots of Cavit Collection in stock.

Hope this helps.

PS: Using all upper-case letters on the web is considered the equivilent of SHOUTING, and some folks may even consider that to be rude. You should not use ALL upper-case letters when you post.

Welcome to the Wine Board. I hope this answer helps you somewhat.
