I would love to have a good wine store that I could go to! I read about some of you having a place to go where you can ask someone's advice who is actually knowledgable about wines. How do I go about finding such a place. I'm SURE there's got to be at least a few good ones here in the North part of San Diego county (if I have to drive farther than 20-25 min., it's not going to happen). Do I just look up "wine" in the yellow pages?? I'd appreciate your advice!

LB I've been doing biz with Vintage Wines on Miraamar road for over 15 years. John the owner is not only knowledgeable but has great trained staff. He has IMHO the best overall selection of wine in Calif with the exception of Hi Time Cellars in Costa Mesa and our very own Robertos' Wine Expo, both of which are slightly more than 25 min from Oceanside. His number is 858-549-2112. Super prices too. WW
