hi, we're a young couple who are looking to build a wine collection and were wondering if anyone could reccomend cheap wines we could by now that would age well and possibly go up in price over teh years.

"Cheap" wines are different than "inexpensive" wines. Virtually without exception, cheap wines will not age well and will never, ever, go up in price. Some inexpensive wines may age well, but not for more than a few years, and really won't go up in price. Neither cheap nor inexpensive wines would be what are called collectibles, which are the ones that may increase in value. Unless you have a good wine sense, an impeccable storage location and a large supply of disposable income, wine is not what one would call a blue chip investment vehicle. All that said, you would be better off at first learning about wine by reading, going to tastings, seeking the advice of your local fine wine merchants and watching what goes on here on the Wineboard.
