I work for a Supermarket Chain and Im looking for a mid level priced Chianti for a very specific market segment, Ive been offered a Chianti called "Terre Della Malpergaia" made by Cantine Cooperative Riunite" any coments on the quality ? and anybody knows the average retail price for this wine ?

Counselor, you might not get an answer to your questions on this thread because you have used the Technical Forum, which is reserved for site-specific technical questions.

In any event, if you are contemplating buying a wine for the store, why don't you taste it yourself to determine if it is worth selling?

Hello Counselor,

Welcome to the Wineboard.

What price point are you trying to get to? What specific market segment are you selling to?

If you are the buyer, I would try many in that price point and make your choice on taste, color, bouquet, etc....

Chianti's run the gammit from very inexpensive to very expensive. You really aren't giving us enough to go on to make an educated decision.

ps - I've never had that chianti.
