I want to buy Red Wine to 'put down' and keep for many years. Which ones are best for long-term?

Hii JJ and welcome to the board. No real answer to your question as posted. Cabernets, Pinot Noir, Burgandies, Bordeauxs, Ports, Chiantis, Super Tuscans, Barolas ...ad infinitum. Sounds like a question from someone who heard(read) about the appreciation of an older wine and loves the return. Here's some that I know will AGE (not necessarily appreciate ) Lafite, Mouton Rothschild, Margaux, Haut Brion, Margaux, Diamond Creek Volcanic Hill, Caymus Special Selection, and Ch. Montelena. All are proven agers with impeccible track records and prices to match. Have Fun. WW
