Hello,

Need some basic advice about serving and storing a Sauternes. Should they be served chilled? After the bottle is opened, how should the wine be stored? How long does the wine last once opened?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Regards,
Dave Ivie

Hi Dave and a belated welcome to the board. Most dessert wines show better when served chilled. Storing is rather tenuous. I personally use " Private Preserve " in opened bottles of wine that aren't finished ( Which happens VERY seldom at my jernt). In the fridge they will remain viable for 2-3 days. WW
