Hi
I am taking a wine/food pairing class at the moment and our lecturer brought in a man from a distributor of German wines. This man asked us as a fun question (but I know it will appear on our quiz next tuesday!) about a vineyard called 'chateau Lafite Rocher' or at least that't what it sounded like (he wouldn't spell it for us). The question was "what one wine is kept in their cellars?
I would appreciate any answers or leads that i could follow up a net search

thanks

Chateau Lafite Rothschild is one of the five First Growths of Bordeaux, one of the finest wines in the world. What one wine is kept in their cellars? Premier Bordeaux.
(Why is a distributor of German wines asking the class a question about French wine? I would think he would be educating you about the German wines he distributes in your area, and thereby try to expand the retail market for them. Curious. )

Thanks for your reply.
I am not quite sure that 'rothschild' was the last word he said, but I'll ask my lecturer first thing next class and if it was then I'll know the answer thanks to you.
THe old guy from Heritage Wines mentioned a french wine because the lecturer announced in front of him that next we were studying french wines - so i guess it would be the week after next we'd be tested on it.
Thanks again.
