I am not a wine drinker but I would like to give a nice bottle to a friend who is for the holiday. I am also giving him a box of white-chocolate dipped strawberries. Could you suggest a bottle to accompany this gift??

Hi Michlin and welcome to the Wine Board. Port would be ideal. If you are thrifty, look for Hardy's Whiskers Blake Tawny from Oz for around $13.

Just bought several bottles of the Whisker's Blake today........tasty stuff for about $15 a bottle.
