I need some help finding out about a bottle of Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 1992. My husband recieved it as a gift. We both know very little about wine. His brother is wanting it to be opened on Christmas, but other have said to wait. I guess my ?? is to open or not to open? Is it worth any $$$? And how does it compare to the 1996 bottle? We love the 1996 Stag's cabernet. So any help we be great!! thanks

Peepy, Welcome to the board. If you go to the Cabernet thread there`s a comprehensive tasting of all the `92 cabs. The Stags Leap is on the 3rd page of the thread. winoweenie
