- nasinque - 09-07-2002 I am looking for a red wine that is sweet but not too sweet. I do not want anything dry or tangy. Also something that I can buy that is not to expencive and that I can purshase at any grocery store. - Innkeeper - 09-08-2002 Hi Nasinque, and welcome to the Wine Board. Try a Reunite Lambrusco. If you can't find one, you can't find wine. - Bonita - 09-10-2002 I've tried Riuniti Lambrusco and enjoy it. It's a good any occassion wine that you can have seconds and thirds since it's only 8% alcohol. The label says varietal soft red wine. Is there any way of knowing what grapes are used for this? Just wondering. - Innkeeper - 09-10-2002 Varietal means made from the variety in the name of the wine; in this case lambrusco. |
