Hi Big, and welcome to the Wine Board. Mouton Cadet is a very nice $10.00 drinking wine made primarily from merlot. It does not have the complexity to age very long. It may improve a little over two more years or so. Like about 90% of the world's wines these days it is meant to be consumed upon release.

You can store white wine and dessert wine in the refridgerator for varying periods of time. Dessert wines and very full and complex whites for longer periods that the lighter whites that may already be fading when you bring them home. Find another place to store your reds.
