I have a single bottle of (1945 Chateau Haut-Brion; Grand premier Cru Classic) this I received in an inheritance. Does it have Value and if so A possible value range (monetary and drinking on special occasion) the wine has been stored carefully through the years. Another bottle is a 1982 Chateau La Lagune Haut Medoc; Grand cru classic. Thanks again for your time and help. have a great evening.

Hi RR and welcome to the board. Someone must have REALLY loved you. You are in possession of one of the all-time classic Haut Brions. Haven't paid much attention to the auction market but the last bottle I saw at retail was 2700.00! You're not quite as fortunate with the 82 La Lagune, but can assure you this lil' sucker be drinking like a dream. Last bottle I had was last year and it was sublime.Retailing for 119 to 139. WW
