Hello,
I'm new here and I have a question. My future mother-in-law was cleaning out her garage and rediscovered a bottle of wine in a wooden box. It is a 1973 Mouton-Cadet Bordeaux. The box says it is a 192 oz bottle, however, the bottle says 202.8 oz. She is interested in finding out the value. If anyone can give me any idea, that would be great.
Thank you,
Rachel

Hi Storm, and welcome to the Wine Board. Bottle size does matter when it comes to longevity of wine. Mouton-Cadet is a mass produced journeyman plain ole Bordeaux. It never appreciates in value. Some years it is a halfway decent quaffer, good for parties and wedding receptions.

Exactly how long your big bottle lasted is hard to tell. However, I'm reasonably sure it is as dead as a doornail. Sorry.

Mediocre bottle + mediocre vintage = Bupkis

Maybe some curiosity value?
