- joeyz6 - 03-14-2003 Couldn't find this on an old thread ... Is red sparkling wine a new thing? I wasn't aware of its existence until recently. How dark is it? Is it made in the same way as white and rosé sparklers? What countries or appelations are making it? - Innkeeper - 03-14-2003 They were once popular in this the U.S. At home we always had a Taylor Sparkling Burgundy for Christmas. Later came a creature called Cold Duck. After that, not much else here. Oz is a different story. They make Sparkling Shiraz and others. There's a post on the Oz thread today about just such a wine. |
