Thanks for the info, now just so I know I understand this, madeline is a street or an area of Paris? Then the mustard house is named Maille and Fachon is a shop? Sorry I can be a little slow sometimes, that and I would get over there and get totally lost. I love the advice thank you so much and keep it coming. In the 8th Arrondissement, Champs Elysee (Paris is segmented by these things called Arrondissements. Most tour books will explain this better than I even can. A picture will also do this).

I spelled it wrong. It is actually called the Madeleine Church, named for Mary Magdalene. The most famous restaurant in the area is Maxim's restaurant on the rue Royale and on the square of the Madeleine (the road basically circles this church) are Fauchon, Mallie and Hediard's (which is perhaps even more famous especially to the brits).

Hope this helps.

I don't have any real advice for you, except to just relax, have fun and explore the different opportunities.
I was in London, Paris and Germany just over a year ago. That trip was the first time I ever tasted wine. It was so awesome just to experience all the different cultures and what they had to offer.
My friends and I were limited in time and distance away from the group, so we found that asking locals what they recommended from that area was a good way to find good selections. People tend to know what is good in the area and love to show off what their homeland has to offer (especially in Paris.)
Have a great time in Europe!

Hey guys I'm back and had a blast! Actually I wish I didn't have to go back home. I picked up to good looking wines. Both from Lavinia. One is a light bodied blush and the other a medium bodied red. Thanks again for all your advice.

We'd love to hear more about your European experience. You could post under Wine Touring thread. Glad you had a blast.
