- sheilab - 02-14-2003 I am new to this whole wine thing; actually I don't have a clue about wines at all. Anyway, I need help. I'm looking for a wine for my wedding. We would like something that is kind of fruity and a little sweet, and that is not outragously expensive. Any suggestions? -Sheila - Drew - 02-14-2003 Please post your menu and we'll be happy to suggest some wines, BTW, welcome to the board. Drew - tandkvd - 02-15-2003 My wife doesent like wine that much unless it is fruity and sweet. I have been trying to find a wine that she likes. I found one she realy liked last night for Valentines. It is Washington Hills 2001 Late Harvest Riesling, and was only $8.99. It rated a 87 in Wine Spectator. I was looking for the Hogue 2001 Late Harvest Riesling but the wine shop was out of it. The price on it was only $8.79. I have also heard good reviews about it as well. Just my 2 cents worth. [This message has been edited by tandkvd (edited 02-15-2003).] |
