Opinions, please, on, properly cellared (at least in this generation) 136 yr old Malmsey Maderia. Hi fill above shoulder; no signs of leakage.
Also, anyone know where to buy port bottle tongs for opening such an old bottle?

A regular screwpull should work - the cork is not that old, just part of the contents.

OK .. 1 more try..... opinions on the wine, please.
And I am still interested in locating the tongs.
Thanks.

OK let me take a crack at it. If you want to hook up with a madeira guru contact
premiumport.com. I just met the lady who answers all the questions left on the site and she is a Madeira freak. Go to the email part on the left hand column of the site. My guess is her company probably made the bottle you are holding and she can get you properly tonged.
